At the beginning, a small group of guys passionated by a famous computer mixing software decided to create a small-size webradio, in order to share their passion of mixing.
This webradio became in 2004 the official radio of this software. Since, it has always been managed for free by voluntary people.
In order to give this radio another scope, and let other DJs using any technic they want to mix in live on an international webradio, we created Club Station Live on 5th november 2007.
In 3 years, our former webradio growed, and got from 5 average listeners at the beginning, to peaks of 180 listeners, with an average og 80 listeners. Our ambitions for Club Station Live are to explode this number of listeners, because it won't be limited to a software anymore, and it's now opened to all horizons.
The concept is basically different from all other webradios. Here, except in exceptional cases, you won't find any interview, recorded mix, or advertisement. In fact, we ask our DJs to mix in live, and only in live, only music and nothing else. However in order to keep the radio alive 24h per day, recorded sets are broadcasted when no DJ is mixing. |

Club Station Live is a non profit radio. All our team is voluntary. However we must pay servers location, streaming royalties, and all other fees related to radio performance. It couldn't be possible without contributions of our members and some donations.
